Launch of a New Food Market in Douglas

The newly established Manx Food Market Traders Association  (Manx FMTA), is working with DEFA and Douglas City Center Management to launch a regular Douglas Foodies Market in June this year. The Foodies Market will be held on alternative Saturdays from 10am to 2pm and will comprise of stalls selling fresh produce, ingredients and prepared food, providing the public with a real alternative to their usual supermarket food shop.

Isle of Man rum, soon to be sold in Harrods

Rum distilled in the Isle of Man will soon be sold in Harrods as local distillery Outlier continues its London takeover. The bright, art-led labels of white rum Hoolie, which were designed by local artist Megan Hindley, will now be displayed alongside some of the world's most prestigious spirit brands on the illustrious shelves of Harrods.

Manx Rum Hurricane blows Alan Titchmarsh away

A locally produced Manx rum by the Outlier Distilling Company featured on Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Weekend on ITV on Sunday (08/01/23). Hurricane, a Manx 64% overproof rum made from scratch using West Indian molasses, which is made in a converted milking shed on Ballykelly Farm in Andreas, featured in a Best of British rums line up as sampled by TV chefs James Martin and Jimmy Doherty.
