We are Smoky Sam's - a small, independent smoked meat and sauce business based in Peel. Everything we sell has been locally sourced and traditionally smoked.
We launched the business in July 2023, as we realised there was a gap in the market for authentic barbecue sauces and smoked meats.
I have been a chef for 11 years and I've always had a passion for smoked meats and sauces. A few years ago I got the chance to work in a smokehouse in the UK, and it truly helped me to connect with the food. Having that knowledge really helps me be creative with flavour combinations and finding flavours that really showcase our smoked meats.
We are being supported by some fantasic local shops, including Noa Bakehouse, Robinsons on the Terrace and Woodbourne Deli who all stock our sauces. We are also extremely lucky to be able to use local produce, including Fire Island's Chillis and meat from Radcliffe Butchers.
We are currently based in Peel, the Isle of Man community is like no other I have experienced before! Everyone is so welcoming and helpful, and it's honestly such a pleasure to be a part of something so special.
The Isle of Man food festival is a fantastic event where some of the best Manx produce can really shine. It's a brilliant opportunity to showcase the island, along with all the amazing and diverse produce.

We are also constantly on the look out for some new exciting collaborations to create truly unique Manx products!
Our Smokehouse BBQ Sauce is a definite must try, and is unlike other BBQ sauces. Also, Smoky Sam's Brisket Pastrami is most loved by ourselves, and our customers.
